Transparent Pricing, Thoughtful Care
Dr. Vataniman is in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Shield of California, and otherwise is an out-of-network provider. Payment is due directly at the time of service (unless you have Aetna insurance), and a superbill (an itemized receipt with the necessary billing codes) will be provided so you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Fee Structure
Fees vary depending on the type of evaluation and the number of hours required for testing, scoring, and report writing. An initial intake session is $250, which is applied toward the total cost of your evaluation.

- Remaining 50% due before the feedback session
The Evaluation Process
Step 1 — Initial Consultation
Reach out by phone, referral, or the contact form on this site. A brief phone consultation will help determine whether Dr. Vataniman’s services are the right fit for your needs.
Step 2 — Intake Session ($250)
A comprehensive clinical interview to gather background history, clarify your concerns, and outline the evaluation plan. This fee is included in your total evaluation cost.
Step 3 — Testing
One or more testing sessions will be scheduled depending on the evaluation type. A 50% deposit is required prior to the start of testing.
Step 4 — Report Writing
Following the completion of testing, a detailed written report will be prepared and delivered within approximately one week.
Step 5 — Feedback Session
Dr. Vataniman will meet with you to review the findings, answer your questions, and discuss recommendations. The remaining balance is due before this session.
